It’s when she looks into his eyes, that she really knows. Its the way he stares at her like he can see right through her, all the way to her soul. And now, when she realizes that he won’t be in front of her, beside her, near her, anymore. When she thinks about how that one event, that one case, changed everything, altered their relationship forever, she wants to cry.
